Duties
- Communicating and Overseeing Regulations: Announcing all resolutions, regulations, and bylaws issued by the University President to the relevant units, and following up on and supervising their proper implementation.
- Policy Development: Drafting regulations, guidelines, and meeting agendas related to the responsibilities of the Vice Chancellor's office for submission and approval to the proper authorities.
- Reporting: Providing necessary justification reports and briefings to the University President regarding the duties and functions of subordinate units.
- Management Appointments: Recommending qualified individuals to the University President for management positions within the Vice Chancellor’s office.
- Supervision: Supervising affiliated units to ensure the proper execution of their responsibilities.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Planning, organizing activities, and proposing the annual budget for the Vice Chancellor's office in line with the university's priorities.
- Inter-departmental Collaboration: Cooperating with other Vice Chancellor’s offices to ensure the successful implementation of university programs.
- Academic Policy Management: Administering and supervising the proper implementation of all academic and graduate studies policies, regulations, and processes, in accordance with relevant laws and bylaws, with a focus on expanding graduate-level programs.
- Program Oversight and Evaluation: Planning academic and graduate affairs in collaboration with relevant units, supervising the functions of affiliated units, overseeing the implementation of each faculty’s educational programs and activities, evaluating them, and presenting necessary reports to the Board of Directors.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and evaluating the academic performance of students, faculty members, and academic managers in various units each semester, reflecting the findings to the University President, and communicating the evaluation results to the faculty members.
- Training Programs: Implementing short-term and in-service training courses.
- Resource Planning for Academic Integration: Planning for the provision of facilities and allocation of funds to foster scientific and educational interaction between religious seminaries and the university and creating a suitable environment for advancing religious science and Islamic humanities.
- Alignment with National Goals: Aligning the institution’s educational planning with the National Vision Document, the Comprehensive Scientific Map and national development plans.
- Skill Enhancement: Prioritizing the organization of empowerment and professional development courses.
- Curriculum Review and Modernization: Evaluating and revising curriculum content and syllabi to ensure they are up-to-date and effective; enhancing the capabilities of faculty members; enriching course content with strong values; and submitting necessary proposals to the relevant government Ministries as needed.
- Student Professional Development: Planning to enhance the specialized scientific skills of students to prepare them for entering the workforce.
- National Plan Implementation: Supervising and evaluating the implementation process of the country's Comprehensive Scientific Map within the institution, in coordination with the parent Ministry.
- Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned by the University President.
